Admission Period ​

General Rules for Admission

The admission period at HMS is from December to March. We give admissions on ‘First Come First Serve Basis’. We suggest all the parents take the admissions at the earliest to avoid any rejections later on.

  1. Preference to siblings (Real brothers / sisters) of students presently studying in Holy Mary’s School, Banur
  2.  Age Criteria: The child should complete 3 Years as on 31st March for Nursery Class admission
  3. Documents required for admission:
    • Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
    • Two copies of recent photograph.
    • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card.

Admission Concession to the Poor and Needy

Holy Mary’s School stands for social causes and wishes to serve the society and this is why we have reserved 25% of the seats for the poor and weaker sections, as per the RTE (Right to Education) Act. Not only this, HMS also provides absolute free education to those who are needy and cannot support their child’s education.

Employee Assistance

As a part of the Employee Assistance Scheme, HMS provides 50% concession to all the children of our employees.

Annual Vacation

Summer Vacations and winter vacations are given to all our students as per government instructions and based on the weather conditions.

Term Details

The school year commences in April and comprises of two terms, as stated below:

  • First Term begins from April and lasts until September. (6 Months)
  • Second Term begins in October and lasts until March. (6 Months)
  • Academic Session Period is from 1 st April to 31 st March.
